M-V-8 Launch 2006
The
M-V-8 launched sucessfully at 6:28am on February 22, 2006 (Japan
Standard Time, JST). The launch occurred at the Uchinoura Space Center
(USC). Three payloads were on on board the launch vehicle. The primary
payload was a 952kg satellite, ASTRO-F that is performing infrared
astronomy. The two subpayload includes a solar sail and Cute-1.7 + APD. Cute-1.7 + APD a 20cmx10cmx10cm CubeSat was developed by the Tokyo Institute of Technology. Please click on the links below for more information about Cute-1.7+ADP.
